In the lives of emergency services personnel, dramas unfold every day. Each shift is nothing short of an act of bravery as they uphold their commitment to helping others in their time of need. Too often, the stories about the courageous men and women of South Africa’s emergency services rarely make it beyond the corridors of their local HQ.
The Centrum Guardian Project is changing all that.

The Centrum Guardian Project rewards the brave men and women of the EMS - those individuals or teams who go above and beyond the call of duty.

In 2008, we selected five finalists nationwide. The public then voted for their favourite Centrum Guardian, recognizing the difference these heroes had made in the lives of regular South Africans. Their votes were a token of appreciation that got the Guardians and their organizations one step closer to receiving a substantial accolade, sponsored by Centrum – The World’s No. 1 Multivitamin, balanced and complete from A to Zinc.
